Just installed the new 500 gig drive and am formatting it as I type. It is thus far silent from where I'm sitting except it has twice now made this REALLY LOUD growling sound. It almost sounds like a case fan that's going bad. The sound lasted for about 3 seconds then went away. Anyone else ever experienced this? I just RMA'ed it. In the 10+ years I've been building computers, I have never heard this before.
