I have an application running as a service, that produces PDF reports. It
does this by sending http output to a local printer, which is set to output
to a file.
If I logon to my server, then the printing process works. If I logout of the
server, or never log in initially, no pdf document is created, although from
the logs I can see that the rest of the process works OK.
Any ideas why printing fails without a logon ?
Can a service print by itself, or does printing require a user logon or
profile ? (the service is running under a domain account, which is a local
administrator)
