Should I Update my Bios???

Im new to OC'ing so i need the Vet's over here to ease me in. I am going to be Overclocking on an EVGA 680i that came with Bios: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 12/21/2006. Should i be updating this to P24??? Will i see more stablity and better performance if i do this or is this like everything else in OC'ing, some see better results from both.

for overclocking, maybe, maybe not.

i didnt see any difference after i flashed my asus mobo.
but the temps dropped by 10c 8O .
