I've tried several times to install a (software) DVD decoder on a Win2K
Pro machine. I've tried decoders from several different vendors
(including the manufacturer of the video card - NVidia). In each case,
the installation is described as successful, yet other programs which
need the decoder, including Media Player, say that they can't find a
decoder.

Is there something else I need to do or something that I can check?
