Ok, I have had enough. I have tried everything! So I got a whole new computer, e6400, abit board, 150gb raptor, 2x1gb ocz 6400, antec nine hundred etc. Running XP. I just added 2 SATA Samsung SH-S183L dvd rw drives with lite scribe. I downloaded the drives and firmware update program provided by Sumsung.
IT STILL READS THESE DRIVES AS "CD-ROM" DRIVES!!!
I hope I didn't pay for two SATA CD-ROM drives that says DVD RW and lite scribe on them!
So I am wondering, what do I do?
I have sp2, I have done all my updates, and everything runs great except this.
Can someone help me or give me some ideas?
