I'm looking for a PSU to use with my new board which will probably be a MSI P6N (NOT Platinum one), a Core 2 Duo processor and a PCI-E graphics card.

I like the Hiper 580 Type-R, Corsair HX 520, Antec TruePower Trio 550W and the Coolermaster eXtreme Power 650W.

Although the Coolermaster is the most expensive, at nearly £35 more than the cheapest of the others, it's the only one that actually has a review saying it's Core 2 Duo compatible.

EDIT: I have just found a OCZ GameXStream 700W for a bit less than the Coolermaster and one of the reviewers is using it with a C2D processor. However, it's out of stock and I want to build the PC this weekend so unless it comes back in tomorrow I probably won't be able to get this one.

Are the others compatible with C2D and my board? (The board has a 650i chipset if that helps)

More Information

I went for the Corsair in the end as I've read very good reviews and it was the only good one in stock anyway. However, I'll post my specs so I know if I'm going to get any problems and alos for others who might read this in the future.

My specs are -

Mobo - MSI P6N SLI-FI nvidia 650i Socket 775 ATX
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 (1.86ghz) Socket 775 Fsb1066 2mb Cache
RAM - Corsair 1GB (2X512MB) DDR2 667MHz/PC2-5400 XMS
Graphics - Sapphire X1950Pro 256MB 256bit GDDR3 Dual DVI TVO HDCP PCI-E

Hard drives -
Seagate 80GB Barracuda SATAII 7200RPM 8MB Cache - OEM
Maxtor STM3250820AS 250GB 7200RPM SATAII 8MB Cache - OEM
1 IDE HDD (80GB)
1 Floppy drive (this will only be connected if required during initial install)

Optical Drives -
2 CD/DVD drives (one is a writer)

Cooling -
3 80mm case fans
Exhaust fan in PCI slot
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU cooler

Other -
Akasa All-in-one front panel (I think this needs a Sata power supply)

I usually have about 4 USB device plugged in - Keyboard, mouse, external soundcard, card reader etc)
