Hi all,

I have a quick question:

Can I add a second CPU in a server that have already a Windows 2000
Server installed on it?

Does windows will reconize it and works as if it was there from the
installation of the OS?

TIA

Kris

Yes, but you have to install a similar/matched second processor. It's
usually a fairly simple operation for W2k to recognize the processor but
you may have to go to the Device Manager and update the driver for it.
