Hi, I would like to know what the ultimate differences are between 2GB RAM DDR2 533 to 677 to 800.

I noticed that 1GB RAM DDR2 800 is the same price than the 2GB RAM DDR2 577. Is they're effectiveness really taken down? Is there any way we could calculate the effectiveness of lets say 4GB RAM DDR2 533 to 2GB RAM DDR2 800? :p Thanks

Well, it would mostly depends on if you use more than 2GB of RAM. If you have some kind of enormous SQL database on your computer that uses 2.5 gig of RAM and then to run Gothic 3 (damn this game use lots of RAM), than your better with 4GB DDR2 533. But if you dont have so kind of use for more than 2GB of RAM, like MOST people, than your better with 2GB DDR2-800.

Also, if you plan to put this in a core 2 duo system and plan to overclock the CPU, you will NEED DDR2-800 or the memory will hit a wall very fast and 4GB of memory limiting your CPU speed would be a shame!
