I just installed a APC BE550G battery back up for my computer.
What is better for the life of the battery: to keep using the computer until the battery runs out,
to leave the battery on, beeping during the black out time,
or to turn the battery off as soon as it starts beeping.
also when I leave the house for a week or longer and the computer is not going to be used, should I leave the battery off in case the power goes off to avoid the beeping and running down the battery.
