If a PSU has two rails that sport 20A each they do NOT add up to 40A. You have to take the total wattage on the +12V rail and divide that by 12. for example a 3 rail PSU with 18A on each rail. the total wattage listed below those rails on the PSUs label (not always the case but is helpful when it is listed) is 480 that means the system can provide a maximum amount of 40A.

Here is a great Example:Click here

the PSU has two 22A rails but its max output is 32A (384/12 = 32)

Also I need to know your total wattage on the +12V rail (look at the label under +12V)

With that said, now I say: who knows? The R600 isn't out yet and it is mostly speculation on what the energy requirements will be, let alone an off-shoot of the family. I believe AMD said the power requirements will be 240W for the card for the top version, but I don't think they've said anything about the X2900XT.

this is not a good system - you do not need that over prices psu - get a silversonte 650w for $110

the eclipse cooler is not too good - u can cool the e6600 with stock intel anyways

the case has fans - why did u get new ones? it has not window are u adding one and those are lighted?

it depends on how the rails are crossed not all rails are crossed or crossed alike.

a 3 rail psu 12,1 may power the cpu, mobo and peripherals

12,2 and 12,3 may cross connect 12,1 for 2 pci-x and peripherals on each
