More Information

Is the HP physically farther away from the router than the Dell?

Is the wireless network encrypted (WEP or WPA)?

When you open the wireless utility on each, what to you see for available networks, signal strength, etc.

Have you checked for interfering networks (from your neighbors, etc)?
