Hi, I added a local user xuser to win2000 server.
and changed profile to point to d:\profile\xuser

but when I open a notepad the save a file to hard drive, it is still
pointing to c drive not default to d: drive.

then I did a set at command prompt it is showing
%USERPROFILE% is still pointing to C drive.

How do I change it so it will point to D drive?

Thanks!

Greg

Change the properties of the "My Documents" shortcut on your desktop.

You probably do. Your guess as to what you need to change
is as good as mine. Make it some easily identifiable location
(e.g. D:\ABCXYZ), then search the registry for that string.
