I purchased on open box TV from best buy which is a 55" philips HDTV. the TV
works great, but there are three little circular yelloish blobs in the center
when the tv is on (it isnt there when the TV is off). Is this something wrong
with the TV, or can I adjust something somehow? the blobs arent apparent on
black, but on flesh tones, they are obvious if you are looking for them.

if something is wrong with the TV, do you think best buy will knock off 10-20%
of the TV, or should I demand an entire refund you think? any help would be
appreciated!

Either get it fixed or return it, I wouldn't live with a defect like that.

Either defects in the lens or burns on the crts, have it eveluated and then
check into the repair/return policies. I'd suspect probable burns on the
crts which is an expensive repair, Phillips may not supply the crts because
of the burns.
