I was wondering if there is a way to setup Windows 2000 so that when the
power comes back on after a power loss, windows will automatically reboot. I
have found in the bios using the keyboard or mouse to reboot.

Also how do you get a program to automatically start when windows boots up.

Thank you

* I don't know what this means but yes you're looking in the right place.
The bios is where you must control this behavior.

* Startup directories or from the registry 'Run' keys

%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
%USERPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

You should find a setting in the BIOS to control how power losses are
controlled with a choice to restart. While the registry keys that were
mentioned are a method, a simple method that works for many applications
would be to simply place a shortcut for that program in your Startup folder
on your Programs menu. You can work your way through your start menu untill
you get to the Startup folder. Right click and choose Explore or Explore
All Users and place your shortcut there.

Good Luck
