I saw this adapter at Cyberguys
http://www.cyberguys.com/templates [...] 1=121+2288
and I'm wondering if it would work with a DVD player that upconverts
to 1080i through a DVI port. My TV only has component inputs and I'm
in the market for a new DVD player. I've been looking at the soon to
be released Samsung HD941 that has HDMI upconversion output, but the
specs say -
Included Accessories:
HDMI digital video interconnect and HDMI-to-DVI converter.

I'm wondering if ths DVI to Component adapter would work to send the
upconverted signal to my TV, or is that too many conversions?

Thanks,
Jim

The Dvi adaptor your looking at looks like and is likely for a ATI video
card. I'm surprised there's no specs on their page or reference to ATI.
Look here and you'll see what I believe is the same item.

I don't see how it could work for any DVI but a ATI video card.
