4300 vs 925 Tcase & Tjunction

Bit of a technical question, dunno if ne1 can help

Was running a 925D 3.0 @ 3.6G on water. Temps were 20-35c, they never got above 40c

Now running a 4300 1.8 @ 2.7(for now) and temps are 45-65c!
All water components are the same and the setup isnt as great as before.

Mainly use speedfan and the asus prog (which report the same numbers).

The only thing i can think of is the 925 was using a tcase sensor while the c2d with speed fan is reporting a tjunction temp, which by all accounts should read ~15c higher than tcase.

Even taking that into account, my temps are still at least 10c higher. Given the fact that im SURE ive installed the blocks properly and running ~1.15v, and that the D's are furnaces WTH is up?

Please remember, the metric is performance per watt.
You are getting a whole lot more performance from that 4300, than you would get from the PD, if it were running 15c faster/hotter.
Even in electronics, you have to put power in, to get work out.
Having said that, I would also remind you that the 4300 is a lower binned part. It wont have the full capabilities of the higher bins.
This is my opinion though, so take it as you will.
