I just got a 19" widesreen LCD (samsung 931Bw, 2ms,2000:1) and when ever i try to watch a movie i get alot of noise. (This never happened before with my old CRT)
I have tried adjusting the noise reduction and edge enhancement options in the nvidia control panel, this helps a bit, but once i push them past 50% i get alot of ghosting or motion burr with the images.
Does anyone have a similar problem or know a fix for it?
i am running the latest nvidia drivers 97.92 and i am using a dual link DVI-D cable to connect my monitor and video card.
my complete specs are:
AMD Athlon 3700+
1.5GB RA M
BFG 8800GTS 640 mb
Creative Audiguy 4 sound card
Asus k8n4e-deluxe mobo
other than this problem the monitor is fine, games play smooth with no ghosting.
