I use a (old) laptop + Win2K + SP4.

I observed that I can't change the interrupts allocations. All HW resources
are checked and grayed (device manager). What it means? Is
there any way to eneble the grayed settings ?

To manually assign IRQ's you'll need to reinstall the OS with ACPI disabled
in cmos setup. IRQ sharing is a normal thing for Windows 2000.

Sorry, don't understand. Should the OS prompts with an option ACPI (what is
this?) disabled ?

You'll need to disable in system bios then reinstall the operating system.
Check your pc or mobo manual for details.
