Win2K Server - Turn off system messaging

We recently had to troubleshoot a FacSys install. The FacSys tech had us to
turn on messaging in a couple of registry keys and create a new DWord
registry key to turn on a message. This software is an enterprise Fax
program that utilizes a Fax connector program to the Exchange server for
sending faxes by Outlook. Now we are receiving an extra message each time a
fax is sent via email in addition to the standard message we want generated
by the Fax program.

I have searched with luck for the offending registry entries, the Facsys
Tech claims not to remember.

Anyone with a hint of what to look for?
