I'm upgrading this week and need some advice on a mobo for either an Intel C2D E4300 or E6300.
Conditions are:
MUST be under £100GBP,
MUST have SATA RAID and SATA,
MUST have decent quality sound chip,
MUST be compatible with 8800 series gfx cards or X1950XTX and preferably use it to top potential.
Would also like:
like to do some mild overclocking but not essential
like it to support 800MHz and above (futureproofing)
like to support IDE DVD drive (I cant afford to upgrade the optical drives too).

I'd also like your opinions on SLI and Crossfire - is it worth it???

Thanks for your feedback.

Im very happy with the Gigabyte 965P DQ6

has 8 sata ports raid and legacy
"Home theater quality 8-channel High Definition Audio"
Runs my 8800 GTX no probs
Amazing for overclocking, also with a dual bios
1333mhz FSB supported
has an IDE channel
oh and its solid capacitor!

However,

its over 100GBP about 135 at overclockers.co.uk
and its crossfire only
and you need to get the rev 3.3, not 2.0

just thought you should know about it if you dont already, its been great so far! and fanless too!
