heres my setup

AMD Athlon +3200
1GB RAM
120GB hard drive
Sound blaster Live!
ATI radeon 9800 pro 128MB AGP

im looking to upgrade maybe to a ATI radeon 1950pro 256MB AGP for a little over $200. anyone think this computer is still even worth upgrading? i do a lot of gaming and getting mediocre fps on stuff like bf2 and stuff. think this would even be a big upgrade?

It would be a HUGE upgrade.

Go for it.

But make sure your power supply can handle it.

Like Prozac said, check your PSU. It's recomended that you have a 450W with 30amps on the 12v rail. I know of one person of the forumz running it using a 380W with 22amps, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

 I had a feeling you'd show up. :)

To the OP: you may have a 450W PSU, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have sufficient amps on the 12v rail. Just open up your case and take a look.
