Can you guys recommened(sp?) a good case for price that will keep this machine cool and fit it.

CPU: E6600
HS: Thermaltake big typhoon
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
GPU: 8800 gts 320mb
PSU: I was thinking antec truepower 2.0 550W could someone suggest another good option thats in that price bracket
RAM: G.Skill 2x1GB DDR2 800MHz
HD: WESTERN DIGITAL 320GB 16MB SATA

I'm looking to overclock it a bit and was thinking about getting the thermaltake soprano, will this keep my system cool? Also is there any other good cases in this price bracket you could suggest.

silverstone strider 600w - $109 at east luna

below all these cases i have used and all work well with your set up!

parts of emails i sent on cases:
---------------------------------------

The 900 is a nice case - the front would glow nice even if u cant see the window! plud maximum pc gave it a 9 rating!

Want me to send you some other cases with windows?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E1681...

these case are really nice - takes alot longer to build then the 900 - gages take an hour or 2

---------------------------------------------

another maximum 9 rating case - this case is very large

---------------------

the grand kids will like this:

------------------

maximum pc gave this a 10

---------------------

if want lights and lighted fans then i would charge you the $60 extra (160 -100 credit) - with this case i would remove all the fans and replace then wire up fan contollers.

The 900 is not extra charge i only add 1 fan and 1 control - much faster then the gigabyte

you want a window less case and want really good cooling and is quiet, this case can not be beat - it has "btx" layout psu is on the bottom. the is a very large case the advantage is cooling it has many fans in side and a large exhaust fan in the top.

These antec cases are very large, but they are very quiet and have superior cooling and good air filtering The doors are laminated to stop sound there are interior fans for good air flow in confined spaces. 21.3"(H) x 8.1"(W) x 19.9"(D)

----------------------

The Antec sonata is very quiet smaller mid tower - i use this for business systems for many years: 12cm fan in and out.

as long as you have good air glow this is nice smaller case for an upscale home. The smaller size may fit in cabinet better. 16.8"(H) x 18.3"(D) x 8.2"(W)

-------------------------

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E1681... (lights and windows)

The antec 900 is really good for a enclosed area - it has massive air flow with 2 12cm intakes and a very large 15cm plus exhaust fan on top in addition to the rear 12cm fan.

the only draw back is the intakes are difficult to filter without attaching foam to front - if the area the computer is stored at is very clean and free of dust this is your best choice. 19.4'' x 8.1'' x 18.4'' (L x W x H)

A 19" 5ms viewsonic gaming monitor, logitech ms3200 multimedia keyboard and laser mouse, and creative 5.1 speaker system is $385 with dhl shipping.

Ebay systems is $1785 so the total with shipping is $2229.00.

Thank you

Russ

Every link for cases are no extra charge - if they are little more then the usual $100 credit (any case choice you have a $100 credit) that is fine since your not getting lights i listed the nicer cases. For example the lian li below is $240 so i would have to charge extra - this is a one of kind case:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E1681...

I also add a link at the very bottom for a SSF small pc - just incase! I added a lian li link - many of those cases are extra (if they are $200-$300 they are extra!).

-----------------------------------------------

some more cases for you to look at - call me to discuss if want too.

lian li - are the as good or better the antec:

This is a link for all lian li - there are some really unique cases here:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Brand=137... mit=ENE&Manufactory=1375&SubCategory=7

SSF - small form factor pc

siliverstone are nice too: not as good as antc or lian li - this would require a micro atx mobo (same price)- ir you wanted a very compact system:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E1681...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E1681...

you would lose the ability to add a second video card no sli.
