Forgive me if I'n in the wrong place. I don't even lurk these days....

Trying to build a corporate image for win2k (don't ask) on an IBM 8215-35U
with the 945 chipset. Can't get the audio driver to load and the readme says
I need a qfe from Microsoft. Any help out there?

From the readme...
HD AUDIO INSTALLATION PRE-REQUIREMENTS

If you have an HD Audio codec you need to install a QFE to allow the
SoundMAX audio
driver installation to happen. This QFE is made available by Microsoft, and
it
is required to update Operating System components before installing the
audio driver.
The QFE contains the required files and a readme which outlines installation
procedure.
This QFE and these files are distributed by Microsoft only, please contact
them directly
if you need to get them.
End Readme quote...
