hi, Im installing OS (win2000 pro, will buy vista soon) on DS3 but its rebooting after windows log-in screen all the time. This starts happening after installing some Chipset drivers from Gigabyte CD. (I think I was just installing LAN Driver, and Gigabyte SATA and RAID Driver)

Im troubleshooting now, but one concern I have is that Im using Supertalent PC2-6400 and it is rated 2.2V..should I change on Bios-DDR2 OverVoltage Control at all? currently it is set as Normal. should I go for like +0.4v or other?

thanks for your help!!

E6600
DS3 (3.3)
SATA 500GB
x1900xt
XFI platium
Supertalent 2GB 6400

currently no OC.

The DS3 defaults at 1.8V, which is why many people have trouble with their RAM getting it to even boot! Mine is currently set at +0.2V for OCZ DDR2 800 as 2.0V is the manufacturers recommended running voltage.

You'll need to adjust yours accordingly if what you say is true about your memory's running voltage.

I just re-install OS again, and somehow its fine now.
Its still set as 1.8V (default). :)
