Help-no sound!

I have a Dell that I got maybe three years ago and recently the sound stopped working. I reseated the sound card (SB Audigy 2) and reinstalled the latest drivers and tried rolling back drivers as well. Nothing seems towork. Anything else I should try?

What does device manager have to say? Does it recognize the card? Does it show that the device drive is working correctly or is there an exclamation point? If the device manager says to works, it's probably not a driver issue.

That leaves you with a hardware failure of a windows OS FUBAR. Try the sound card in a different computer. If you get the same results it's definately a sound card failure.
