I've got a Mitsubishi 47 HDTV that is a Tube-based rear projection TV.
I'm interested in answering a couple of questions from those who have
seen or have the new JVC LCOS sets:

1) If you had a rear-projection HDTV before that was based on the old
CRT method, how much different is the new LCOS method (specifically
the JVC). Strengths and weaknesses between the two as far as picture
quality etc.

2) JVC advertises 720p upscaling for 480p pictures but I couldn't find
anything that stated if this was the HD mode as well (i.e. no 1080i
mode like my current Mits)? Is all HD done by this upscaling, or will
it project native 720p signals like the ones my Xbox can produce (and
I assume my DishTV Receiver could do the same)?

Thanks,

Matt
