NEWB ALERT: How do I check PC temp/what is normal?

Hi. I have what is I hope a very general question.

How do I check the temperature of my computer, and what temperature(s) is or are normal?

I use the term "computer" because I don't know if you can check your hard drive temps, cpu temps, etc. All I know is that you can do something when your computer boots up. Thanks in advance.

i use everest ultimate link it's a diagnosis tool, shows a very detailed info about your pc, including temps(cpu, northbridge, vga, hdd). If you decide to give it a try pm me.
