Windows 7 not starting

I have windows 7 already installed on my pc but i also want to install xp and for xp i went to bios and turn ahci to native ide but when i try open windows 7 in ide the windows is not booting then i launched startup repair no use is there any way to work windows 7 on ide without reinstalling it on ide ?

turn off ahci, a lot of problems can occur when installing XP and 7 on the same drive.

So how can i install xp on ahci ?
