It's been covered in the ng in the past, check the ng archives on google if

90% plus of questions asked here are of the frequently asked and answered
variety, so I'm not sure why you got singled out for the "read the archives"
treatment. Possibly it's because the MVPs are fed up of having to explain
what an embarrassment ActiveStink is, and what kludge you'll have to employ
to get it to vaguely work this time. It wouldn't hurt for ActiveSync to give
you an easy way to find out *what* files aren't syncing, but anyway I
digress.
If you click the Options button in ActiveSync and select the "Rules" tab, is
the Desktop conflict resolution option set to "Leave the item unresolved"?
If so, when a file is changed on both the PPC and the desktop, the file
won't sync, that is one possible cause of your issue. You can change that
option to choose whether the desktop or PPC will always be considered
correct in such situations, I'm sure you understand the implications.
There are other possible causes, but if the problem occurs again, check that
first. Also for future reference, click http://tinyurl.com/d5elf for an
example of how to search the archives.
