installation error

Hi, i've attempted to install windows server 2003 standard about 5 times, and each time i get the following error during the install.

COM+ Setup Error
Sub-component COM+ raised an exception while processing the
OC_Complete_Installation Setup Message.
D:\srv03rtm\com\complus\src\complussetup\comsetup\ccompluscore.cpp(line 561)
Error Code = 0x80040206

An unexpected internal error was detected
The Com+ event classes could not be registered.

When i click on "OK" it continues with the installation, but when booted into the shell of windows, the OS crashes imeadiately on startup, and does a reboot after a minute. I am installing straight from a Windows Server CD ROM, what can i do to fix this problem??...Please HELP!!!

You didn't mention the drive controller but you may need to boot the Windows
2003 CD-Rom and *F6* very early and very important (at setup is inspecting
your system) in the setup to prevent drive controller detection, and select
S to specify additional drivers. Then later you'll be prompted to insert the
manufacturer supplied Windows 2003 driver for your drive's controller in
drive "A"

If you wait and then S to specify additional drivers, then it may be too
late as Windows 2003 Setup at this point may have already assigned the
resources your drive's controller is wanting to use
