Does any one know and would be able to help me with formatting a laptop hard drive, that would be great?

Can you give a little more info? Do you mean you want to format your entire existing hard drive or just a secondary partition? Or is this a new hard drive that you intend to install as a replacement? We just need to know more about what you are trying to achieve with a format.
