All the Catalysts Control Centers crashes in my new Gecube X1950 XT AGP 256MB DDR3. A message says "CLI interface..... must close...sorry etc etc."
I did everything and i have to say the only way to for my card to play well is to setup only7.2 drivers, xcode, WDM and hydravision.

DONT INSTALL CATALYST CONTROL CENTER.

meh. My 1950xt started properly switching between 2d/3d modes after CCC crashed a few times. Apparently running in 3d beforehand for about 3 weeks.
Then the striped screens, video system crashes. etc.
I tried 7.1, 7.2, warcat drivers, to no avail. Either the drivers are that bad, or the card itself is faulty.

I might come back to it and see how it does without CCC.

Anyone know if its ok to have ATI and Nvidia drivers installed simultaneously?

No dude.Do not have bothe nvidia and ati drivers installed at the same time.That will deffinately make your system crash.Not to mention all kinds of other potential problems that could occur.Completely remove all signs of the one driver,before installing the other driver.It sounds like a memory issue for bothe your guys cards.Goodluck.

Thanks for the tip.
I suppose its the defective vRam indeed.
Too bad I can't RMA the card (had to cut that stupid grill a little, cause it touched the right side of my case - the card wouldn't even reach the PCI-e slot :( )

Ouch.That really sucks dude.Well get in contact with the cards manufacturer and try explaining why you had to cut the grill??,,,Anyways they may help,but not likely,worth a try though.Goodluck.
