"Core Duo o Core 2 Duo" en la notebook usa el "socket 479" según he leido, pregunto, hace un tiempo salió para el "socket 478" de "P4" un adaptador para "soket 479" y asi poder usar el "Pentium M". ¿Se podrá colocar un Core Duo en en una mother con socket 478 usando el adaptador?, no importa si la bios lo soporta o no.

The notebook socket 478 is NOT compatible in any way with the old P4 socket 478. Socket 479 is newer than both and hosts Core Duos and Core 2 Duo mobile processors, and they are not backward compatible. No processors from one socket will fit in another socket.

Lo que quiero decir es que salió un adaptador de socket 479 para 478 en una pc de escritorio no para notebook, que posibilita poner un pentium M en una mother para P4 (socket 478) incluso esta el artículo en tomshardware. Core duo que soket utiliza?, si usa 479 no se podría usar este adaptador para poner un core duo.

Asus made an adapter card, although I'm not sure if it supports the core chips.

Yes, Asus made an adapter for some specific socket 478 motherboards, so people could transform their socket 478 motherboard. No notebook adapters to my knowledge. if I remember correctly the P4C800-E Deluxe and P4P800.

It's the CT-479 by Asus but I doubt it is compatible with Yonah or Merom CPUs since they are not compatible with the earlier Pentium M motherboards/chipsets.
