I have initially installed win98 and it work perfectly.
Then I installed win2000 advanced server but got an error
in the network adapter (CNPower200WL 10/100 Mbps PCI Fast
Ethernet Wake-On-Lan Adapter). I have tried uninstall and
install, reset and reboot procedures but still the problem
remains. I have also tried reformatting the HD and defined
two logical drives (FAT32 and NTFS) and start installing
from scratch but still the same problem occurs. What could
be the problem with the network adapter?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

June

1. Insert Win2000 CD in CD Drive (I'll assume it is "D" )
2. Run D:\i386\winnt32.exe /checkupgradeonly
3. This will give you a text file, that you can open in
notebook, that will list any compatablity problems that
your system may have with Windows 2000.
4. If your adapter is in that report, contact the
manufacturer for an update.
I hope this is some help.
