We're in the process of merging with another company. For
this discussion, I'll call them Company A and Company B.
One problem we are up against is that when a user from
Company A logs onto a workstation, the desktop and
application set for Company A must boot up. Same thing
for Company B users. Multiple desktops probably won't
work since common applications will need to be configured
with company specific settings. Also, there are
applications which are specific to only one or the other
company. A dual boot model would probably work better,
but we deploy a lot of updates (patches and configuration
changes) to the PC's every day and I'm not sure how we
would hit both partitions in this situation.

Has anyone else had this experience before, or heard of a
product out there -Altiris, WinInstall- that offers a
solution?

Thanks for all thoughts!
