Greetings,

I have Windows 2000 Professional on my C drive with FAT32
as file system. I have other drives also and Linux is
installed on E. I wish to remove and do a clean install of
Windows 2000 Professional. How can I do this. I do not
have the Bootable CD for that but I have the dump stored
my hard drive through which I can create the CD and I also
have the bootable disks through which I can start my
computer.

How do I remove Windows 2000 Professional and perform a
clean installation?

Do not worry on the Linux part as I will reinstall the
GRUB from the Red Hat CD.

I have all the drivers and all the programs set up files.
Just need to remove and perform a clean install of Windows
2000 Professional on my C drive without affection other
drives.

Thanks & Regards
David

Ah, in that case you can't use the trick I was going to suggest.

If you own a license for Windows 2000 then you may be able to borrow a
different CD and re-install that way.

An other option is that you could use the "makedisk" utility from the CD
image to create the three boot floppies, "burn" a CD from the image on
your hard drive, and then re-install that way.
