I have one Win2k Server with DNS, AD, DHCP installed. I am
preparing to use the Remote Installation Server. I created
a network boot disk for my client machine. The client pc
boots, but it stops with this error message:
DHCP.
Error: Can't resolve IP address 30.6.176.56

I have no idea where it is getting this IP address from.
My DHCP scope is 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.20, and I only
have one server with 192.168.1.1 IP address.
Has anyone ever seen this before and fixed it. Please help.

-Mike

Looks like you are having multiple dhcp servers on the network...or is
using vmware...(which has built-in dhcp server)

you can use network monitor the find where the client is getting the
ip address from
