Hey all,

When the intel price drops around the end of April (coincidently when I get my Income Tax Refund :) ) I plan on buying a new system with the eVGA 680i mobo and an E6600 CPU proccessor. I have my cooling already selected, as well as my video card. I was wondering however what memory would be best to use to overclock the 2.4 to 3.2

I would love to use corsair, but I will try to keep an open mind.

Stick will Corsair, G.skill, Patriot, Super Talent brand and you will be fine. Go with ddr2 800 if you plan to overclock. My pick Corsiar. Good luck.

If you are not planning on OCing past about 3.2ghz then, DDR800 memory is fine for 1:1 OCing. For that board, I'd suggest the Dominator PC6400C4D or, if you want low latency, the PC6400C3DF which also includes the RAM fan.
