Anyone else having trouble with SATA hotswaping under Vista?

NF4 AMD chipset, external SATA enclosure works great under XP, under Vista with 15.0 chipset drivers SATA drives have to be connected before startup to be automatically detected and never appear in ad remove programs.

Just wondering if this is a chipset/MB issue or a common problem.

Note my enclosure is SATA not eSATA. Both are hotswapable so it should not matter.

SATA is hotswappable only if the driver supports it through the Windows Removable Device Manager.

If the driver you're using for the SATA hardware doesn't then it's NVidia's problem with the driver.
