----------------------------------

This is stable at Orthos for 8 hours, Didnt run any longer cause I think with 8 hours is enough to probe is stable. I can go as high as 1500Mhz FSB (375mhz) and voltage have to be raised up to 1.45000 (1.42 in Probe II) so it can boot. It wont run orthos for more than 5 minutes. Tried raising NB voltage, VTT and 1.2 but nothing. No matter what I do it wont be stable (Some people even have their E6600 at 400mhz at 1.40vcore)

Also I thought it was some bad FSB spot, tried to bot at 1510, 1520 and 1540 and nothing, black screen. Even 1480 wouldnt be stable at orthos.
As you can see my memory is at 815mhz, That is 100% stable tested with memtest86 1.70 so that is not a problem (even thought is only 15mhz OC, I will go further but I want to OC the CPU first)

Does anybody know what can be happening? I really want to achieve 400Mhz. Please Help me out OC experts!

you got the quad core bug! 1333 max for striker!

my stiker says cpu-int and asus says rma! how to i enter rma into the lcd screen.

memory is swithching back and forth as the auto contols even out everything ---manually set it all thats why its not stable

you might want more mem voltage if its cool - 2.15-2.2v at your speeds

set your voltage nb to 3rd setting,

turn off all that auto stuff and manually set it pc-x =100, etc
turn off non essential controllers and usb boot

cpu voltage should be 1.4-1.45 stck cooler is ok for 3.2-2.5ghz - thermal-right is better idea. 1.41 will read 1.38 or so and get you 3.2ghz +/- .1ghz

or 1.55-165 for extreme oc with a good after market cooler - cpu's are cheap - it still last 3-5 yrs if you keep it under 70c

nb = 1.57 or what ever the third highest is
mem = 2.1 v or more with good ram

set all latencies manual - if you have ddr800 set ram to 650-750 then set latencies then set speed - check the ram is hot? if not turn up the voltage

intel is #1 - no flaming!
