Dear All!

Excuse me if I post my message into fallacious discussion group, but I have
the following issue.

I have a domain controller with Windows 2000 system. This server is the only
server in my domain and holds AD, DNS, IIS and some other services. DNS is
set up to maintain my domain zone and is integrated into AD. It looks like,
that everything is working. All my workstation configured to use this DNS
server, and the name resolution works fine.
But when I trying to configure my workstations to join the domain, I always
get the error message: “Computer name changes. The following error occurred
attempting to join the domain “my_domain_name. The RPC server is
unavailable.

I checked the Event Logs on my domain controller and my workstations but
found no errors. How can I resolve this trouble?

Thank you in advance!

Timur.
