hey all, i was looking to buy
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814186020

but i've never heard of foxconn up until today. The reason i'm asking is so far on the newegg website they have the best warranty compared to the other companies (3 year warranty on the overclocked card)

anyways a warranty is no good if a company goes out of business, can anyone give me some insight ?

dude go with EVGA or XFX. i have EVGA cause they provide life time warrenty if you register your card with them online. and they provide 90 day stepup program just return the card to them in that time and they give u full value for it incase u want to upgrade to 8800 gts 640mb or who know's 8900 gts might be out in 3 months

If that's the best deal you can find, go for it.

All brands are basically same, just different name on the box. Foxconn is quite known and pretty good.
