Okay, so I'm looking at building a new AMD machine...

Here are the specs w/ prices:

LG DVD+RW ~ 18.49 USD
Rosewill Challenger Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower ~ 49.99 USD (with 10.00 USD instant savings)
Asus M5A97 AM3+ (Not EVO) ~ 94.99 USD (with 5 USD instant savings)
Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1 GB GDDR5 ~ 119.99 USD (Save 20 USD with rebate card)
XFX Core Edition PRO550W ~ 69.99 USD (Save 20 USD with rebate card)
Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (2x2) DDR3 ~ 24.99 USD (with 10 USD instant savings)
AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE ~ 119.99 USD
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 ~ 24.99 USD (Save 5 USD with rebate card.)

Here is my question. The subtotal is 523.42 USD
with shipping, it is 536.75 USD

My first question: Does Newegg charge extra for TAX? Or is the TAX already included in the order?

Second question: Is it worth it to do that mail-in rebate? I mean... It is... But overall, how long does it take, and how is the money sent? Check? Bank account? Cash?

Thanks,

Okay, thanks, do you have an answer about the mail-in rebate?

It would most likely appear in your bank account. Not sure. I'll confirm and then tell you.

Rebates are usually send you a check in the mail. I have, however, received a prepaid credit card in the past.

They won't be able to send it to your bank account, because they won't know your bank account, unless you give it to them. You pay Newegg-->get the rebate form from Newegg-->you print your invoice from Newegg, and get the UPC label off your item-->send them into the product manufacturer. It can take quite some time to get your rebate. Sometimes it can be a few months.
