Taking longer to get the COH client to log on

Using dial-up it is taking longer to log on to both the COH main servers
and the COH test server.
It acts like there are downloaded updates, but there is no update
progress bar.

I also notice that the text buttons for NEXT and QUIT no longer have
visible text now.

Did you try flushing you DNS cache.

If that doesn't work, I've gone to my CoH directory and deleted the
"Checksum" file (it should be pretty apparent which file it is). The next
time I logged on I had a delay while the Checksum file was rebuilt, but
after that the delay in logging in went away.
