thermalright has instructions on their website for installing a HR-03 on a Radeon x1950 pro but you have to put non electrically conductive washer beneath the mouthing hardware so it doesn't touch the SMD on the back of the card and short it out.

it looks plastic. anyone have any suggestions on what to use for this washer, or where to get one and what size it is?

thanks.

I would try a nylon or rubber washer, you can get them at pretty much any hardware store. For the size i would just take the mounting bracket in with you so you can try out different ones.

Isn't that a plastic backing on the mounting bracket anyway? But any nylon or rubber washer will work just fine too. Anywhere from $0.02-0.15 at your local hardware store :p
