i had recently been reading about how fucking crazy expensive SSDs will be... hybrid may be the way to go...

you get the dependability of an HDD (recoverable data) and the speed of DDR memory onboard to speed things up

I agree a hybrid would be better. I was just pointing out that this is super fast and kind of cool.

100,00 writes / erases before dying? I don't know if i like something set like that. Especially if I install a lot of programs, get new media and reinstall windows.  

I think someone did the math for me, but untill I can see how long these last with those conditions ( lots of NEW programs installed, creating and adding new files all the time etc) I might stick with platters.
