XP File & Setting Transfer Wizard on 2000?

Hi everyone,
I have a new domain controller (Windows Server 2003) with
existing Windows 2000-Pro clients in the "old" (Windows
2000) domain. I was wondering if it's possible to use the
XP file and setting transfer wizard and gather the users
settings, log onto to the new domain controller and using
the F.A.S.T. wizard...restore the old settings to the same
Windows 2000-Pro client. So I want the same client to be
both the target and the destination after gathering the
settings. Is there a better way someone has used to
transfer users settings, etc. to a new domain
controller???
