Hello,

We have a Windows 2000 Data Center Server and we have problems using
WinHttp.WinHttpRequest.5 component for accessing to an extern site, i.e.:
www.google.com. When we request an extern site we get an error message
explaining that the page address is incorrect but we don’t have any problem
when we request a page which is in our domain.

The same source code works perfectly on a Windows 2000 Server so we think
that the problem is related to the Data Center Server version of
WinHttp.WinHttpRequest.5 component. Maybe it has a limited version of that
component to avoid security problems.

Can anybody give us information related to this topic?

Thanks in advance,

Francesc

P.D.: We have the same problem using MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP.4.0 component. :(
