hi guys,

i've just bought myself the GF8800 GTS and the Corsair HX620W.
Other Components:

Intel C2D E6600
Mobo Gigabyte 965P-DS3
2GB (2 x 1GB) Corsair DDR2 800
200GB hard drive

The problem is, i installed the PSU and the Gfx card and all i heard was a loud beep, and nothing on the screen, it seens that there could be a problem with the Gfx card or the way its seated but im sure its not the way its installed but i tried installing it again and it did the same.

So i left the new PSU in and put in my old gfx card (X700) but now i cannot reach WinXP because it sounds like im losing power and the pc just shuts down.

So i put in the old PSU (antec smart power 2.0 400W) and the old gfx card and it still does the same thing...

What is wrong? Im sure everything is correclty connected but it keeps shutting down?

Any help will be greatly appreciated....thanks

If the lights come on and the fans spin for a few seconds, you will need to check your CPU cooler. Will do that sometimes if it does not have a good fit on the CPU, could also be the cooler did not get locked down (stock cooler?) If this does not describe the problem, please give more input.
