PSU prob with Abit AN8 32X motherboard

I have a Toughpower 750watt but I cant get it to work with my motherboard an abit AN8 32X, psu has an (8pin) 4+4-pin +12V Power Connector
X 1 which doesnt fit on motherboard. Is motherboard to old ? or missing something with psu ?

Your PSU has the 20+4 pin ATX connection, that plugs into the 24 pin ATX connection on your mobo.

Your PSU has an 8 pin CPU connection that you will not use.

Your PSU has a 4 pin CPU connection, that plugs into the 4 pin CPU connection on your mobo.

Your PSU has lots of 4 pin molex connections, plug one of them into the 4 pin molex connection under the last PCI slot on your mobo.

Those are all the power connections between PSU and mobo you should have. Does that help?
